ABOUT
Vino came to us a day before Christmas 2021. He surely was one of the best Christmas surprises we have had in many years. The chubby little yellow fellow was destined to become much more than only a Christmas blessing, he still is a blessing after many days, weeks and months after that Christmas day.
As a baby puppy, he house trained within a few days and soon slept “dry” indoors with the other dogs. He is very sociable and his remarkable temperament was obvious from the start. He finished puppy socialising classes at age 4 months with flying colours and emphasized what we already knew: he loves other dogs and all humans!
Shortly before age 5 months, he competed in baby puppy class at the Junior Kennel Club all breed championship show and was awarded Best Baby Puppy in Show under Mrs Dale Fabian, a specialist Labrador judge.
He continued with dog training classes during the months to follow and successfully completed the Basic Obedience Level One course at age 9 months. During the training classes he made many new doggy friends and enjoyed meeting and playing with his class mates whenever the opportunity arises.
We sincerely thank Mrs Margaret Bell (kennel Ailsacraig) for allowing us to have Vino. It is an absolute joy to live with this handsome boy who learns quickly and has an amazing Labrador temperament. He walks, eat and sleep along with our older boy, Oscar, despite the fact that we often have girls in season – on the same property. He has exactly the type of temperament that makes Labradors the most popular choice for family pets.
