ABOUT

Mienke was born out of Miekie, daughter to our late, beloved Allegra, and handsome Matthys (CH Bunnichem Chimborazo of Rawania, JM.), loved and owned by Thania Rowan, kennel Rawania. She is a bundle of energy, always on the go and looking for toys to carry around (much like her mom Miekie used to do). She is a lovable girl with a zest for life, always ready for a game of fetch. Despite being a busy youngster, she is sociable and fits well into our canine family and household.  

We sadly and unexpectedly lost her mom, Miekie, shortly after the birth of Mienke’s litter. We hand-raised the litter of 6 puppies and decided to keep one of the girls in memory of Miekie, who was so loved and dear to us. It was a wise decision: we love Mienke and enjoy having her in our household.

Mienke is doing very well in obedience classes and prefers that to the (breed) show ring. However, she has been exhibited from time to time and has been awarded 2x Reserve Champion Certificates. We trust this promising girl will grow into a beautiful, mature girl like her late mom, Miekie, and produce equally lovely offspring in future.
